Congratulations on one of the most active campaigns in this nations history.

While we did not get the result we wanted in the Referendum count we have achieved something special.

An unprecedented volunteer effort, with people from all cultures that call this country home showing up for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.

A huge leap forward from 7 percent of people in this country prepared to embrace Voice, Truth and Treaty. We now see that number at 40 percent.

Here in the Ballarat Electorate, we have listened to our local community: our friends at Wadawurrung and Dja Dja Wurrung and BADAC whose families and members resoundingly said YES to change.
